New raw materials and products thanks to Europe-wide collection.

Not only does REMONDIS have a nationwide logistics network with modern fleets of vehicles and large capacity transfer and storage facilities in Germany but also in many other European countries – such as here in Hungary.

Producers and distributors are required by law to take back their empty packaging and unwanted products. Instead of setting up their own expensive take-back system, manufacturers and retailers can commission external service providers to fulfil their legal obligations. This means lower costs for them and frees them from having to tie up their own resources in such systems. For sales packaging, for example, REMONDIS offers its EKO-PUNKT "dual system" with which it collects around 100,000 tonnes of sales packaging across Europe from Great Britain to Hungary every year. However, we also have extensive take-back solutions for products such as batteries or waste electrical and electronic equipment.
