In many regions, REMONDIS collects compostable waste – on the one hand from the field of commerce but primarily from the kerbside collection of biowaste from households. As a result leaves, grass and tree cuttings as well as kitchen waste such as coffee filters, fruit and vegetable peelings or waste food are not thrown away into the residual waste bin and can be recycled in an uncomplicated manner.

What does REMONDIS do with biowaste?

We use biowaste to produce composts, substrates and mulch materials. The professional processing methods used guarantee that the final products are of a top quality and contain particularly high levels of nutrients. They are marketed by us under the brand name HUMERRA^®.
