Files and data storage mediums.
Recycling whilst destroying data.
Paper produced from waste paper is environmentally friendly, economical and of a high quality – provided that the processing of the waste paper is carried out according to the strictest of quality standards. Such as those found in REMONDIS' facilities.
Disposing of confidential documents is a particularly sensitive subject. We recommend that you first shred any private files that you no longer need. The shredded paper can then be disposed of in waste paper containers or in blue wheelie bins (household paper bins for kerbside collection). CD-ROMs can be rendered useless by scratching the surface. You can then hand over the discs to waste disposal sites or to processing businesses free of charge.
If you need to dispose of business files or data storage mediums safely, then the only possible solution is using a professional service, such as that provided by our subsidiary REMONDIS DATA Office
What does REMONDIS do with files and data storage mediums?
We process the shredded paper in our facilities together with other kinds of waste paper. The recovered material is then sent to the paper industry. Such paper is especially suitable for producing newspaper paper, office paper and hygienic paper products. CD-ROMS are primarily made from the plastic, polycarbonate. This high quality raw material is suitable for, for example, medical equipment, the outer casing of computers or plastic parts for vehicles. more
