REMONDIS – decades of continued success.

The foundation stone for the REMONDIS of today was laid back in 1934 by Josef Rethmann. Back then, he set up his own haulage business. In 1940, he was awarded his first contract to transport refuse – a contract that was to pave the way for the company's successful future. Today, REMONDIS is still owned by the family and is active across the world as Germany's largest water and environmental service company.

We act both as a business and in the interest of society with both being equally important. It must be said that this is not always easy but we succeed in doing this. Perhaps one reason for us being able to achieve this is because we are one of the world's largest water and environmental service companies.
