RETERRA’s intelligent material-flow management unites the interests of its very different kinds of customers. From the acquisition of organic residual materials and corresponding logistics to recycling using cutting-edge processes to a wide marketing network: with its four business divisions, the RETERRA Group offers its customers convenient services, regenerative sources of energy and high quality fertilizers. All of which help to conserve natural resources and protect the environment.
Value-added products
We produce future-oriented substitute fuels from wood chippings as well as animal feed or biogas from food waste helping to reduce the consumption of primary fuels such as crude oil, coal and natural gas. We use sewage sludge to produce high quality fertilizers – thus contributing to conserving the world’s limited natural supplies of phosphorus. And substrates, composts and humus soils, which are adapted to each individual requirement, are made from plant & tree cuttings and household waste.
Large-scale processes
Each year, we handle 1,1 million tonnes of residual organic materials ensuring that they can be used again.
Individual cooperation models
RETERRA has also been active as a contracting partner to supply district heat since 2008.
