Focusing on providing a diversity of services.
REMONDIS in the Netherlands.
Safety, transparency, efficiency: REMONDIS’ services in the Netherlands have been awarded a large number of accreditations. And they not only fulfil the legal standards but also the individual requirements of our customers.
The Netherlands is one of the most densely populated countries in Europe. Residential areas have been built for more than 16 million people on a very small surface area. There is, therefore, no room whatsoever for careless environmental services. All the better, therefore, that REMONDIS is responsible for providing sustainable water management in the country as well as for residual waste that requires special treatment. Thanks to our many years of know-how and our comprehensive knowledge, we have also developed waste disposal and recycling solutions for the Dutch economy which have been perfectly adapted to the needs of the individual branches.
Experts for precious materials
One of the main priorities at REMONDIS is to set up closed material life cycles for as many kinds of material as possible. Examples of this are the disposal and processing of scrap metal as well as the recovery of precious metals: with over 30 years’ experience, REMONDIS deals with the collection, analysis and processing of such materials – achieving the best possible profits for a wide range of branches such as printing businesses, photographic laboratories, jewellers’ and medical institutes by recycling their residual waste that contains precious metals. For, those working together with us never make a loss when they make environmental decisions.
Unchecked innovative strength
REMONDIS Niederlande is continually extending its range of services. A number of special services, for example, were added just recently for the dental branch as well as innovative methods for treating film material.
A ‘heavy-weight’ partner
We handle substantial volumes of material streams in the Netherlands, too. Each year, for example, we deal with 8,000 tonnes of photographic chemicals alone.
